Year 7 Music

Music in Year 7 aims to provide students with a variety of opportunities for active engagement and enjoyment in performing, composing, notating and listening to Music All students complete musical tasks and enjoy a wide range of experiences including singing, keyboards, percussion and computer music.

Assessment Information

The Music Department assessment program consists of individual aural, composition and performance assessment; class work and scheduled examinations.

Ensembles Programme

A number of ensembles are available for students in Year 7 including choir, guitar ensemble, junior band, string group and percussion group.

Private Music Tuition

Private Music tuition is available on piano, guitar, string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. Please contact the Music Department for further details.
