Year 8 Drama
Drama in Years 8-10 at Waverley College provides opportunities to explore social, cultural, ethical and spiritual beliefs, including the diverse values of Australian culture; engage students in a creative process of sharing, developing and expressing emotions and ideas; develop self-confidence, motivation, and self-esteem through devising, workshopping, rehearsing and performing of individual and collaborative works, the manipulation of a wide range of technologies including traditional, electronic and digital applications in order to engage and challenge students to maximise their individual abilities in cooperation with others.

Assessment Information
The Drama Department assessment program consists of individual performance assessment; group devised performance assessment; script-based performance assessment; written reflection and research tasks
Co-curricular Production Crew
Production Crew meets every Wednesday and Friday lunch and assists with every College based performance. The focus is on performance technology and event management.
